Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
How much notice do you need for an order?
If you are ordering a custom cake or planning a party for a specific weekend, it’s a good idea to allow a one to two week lead time. For weddings and graduations, several months notice may be needed. However, don’t hesitate to call even if your request isn’t within that time frame in case there may be availability. (October, December, February, May, and June weekends tend to book up months in advance.)
Do you have bakery items available for customers to just stop by and pick up without placing an order?
There are times that cupcakes, cookies, or cake pops are available. Feel free to call and ask!
Do you offer gluten free options?
Having gluten sensitivity myself, I have made sweet breads, cakes, cupcakes, and cookies which contain no gluten ingredients. However, my bakery is not gluten-free certified and would not be a good option for those with celiac disease.
I don’t see what I’m looking for on the menu. Can I place an order for something not listed?
It never hurts to ask! I like to experiment with new recipes and if you can give me details of what you’re looking for, I’m happy to give it a try.
How long can I store baked goods before they lose their freshness?
Most cookies and cakes are good for a couple of days. Cupcakes dry out sooner than cakes. Leftover cookies, cupcakes, and cakes can be frozen, then brought to room temperature again at a later date. The taste will still be fine, but the frosting may have a slightly altered consistency.
Do you ship items out of state?
Unfortunately, this is not an option.
